Justice Scalia does say what he thinks – but not EVERYTHING he thinks. He does not define his blatant bigotry and subservience to corporate greed. Instead, he articulates well-thought, convoluted justifications for his ongoing absence of humanity. So indeed Scalia does say what he thinks – but not what he means.
Scalia’s puppet Justice Clarence Thomas is almost an anomaly of nature – he is a cipher of reaction, period. He justifies this absence of individuality by claiming that he never talks during hearings because he chooses to listen to others. Thomas is a coward wearing the mantle of a slave.
